Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By accessing this website or engaging ICB UK's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. ICB UK (International Certificate Bureau) provides ISO management system certification, specialist certifications, and professional training services globally. These terms apply to all clients, website visitors, and training delegates.

2. Services Provided

  • ISO management system certification (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 50001 and others)
  • Specialist certifications (Halal, Kosher, CE Mark)
  • Professional training courses (CQI & IRCA certified)
  • The scope of all certification is agreed in writing prior to audit

3. Certification Process

  • Certification requires successful completion of Stage 1 (documentation) and Stage 2 (on-site) audits
  • Certificates are valid for 3 years subject to annual surveillance audits
  • ICB UK reserves the right to suspend or withdraw certification for non-compliance or failure to maintain the management system
  • Clients must notify ICB UK in writing of any significant changes to their management system, scope, or organisation

4. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete information throughout the certification process
  • Grant ICB UK auditors reasonable access to premises, personnel and records
  • Not misuse, alter, or misrepresent the ICB UK certification mark
  • Maintain the certified management system between scheduled audits
  • Pay all applicable fees in accordance with the agreed quotation

5. Fees & Payment

  • Fees are calculated based on audit time required and confirmed in the certification quotation
  • Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue
  • Non-payment may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification status
  • Fees paid are non-refundable once an audit has commenced
  • ICB UK reserves the right to review fees annually

6. Certification Mark Usage

  • Certified clients are licensed to use the ICB UK certification mark strictly within their agreed certification scope
  • The mark must not be applied to products, used in a misleading manner, or imply product certification unless explicitly agreed
  • Misuse of the mark will result in immediate withdrawal of the licence and legal action if necessary

7. Complaints & Appeals

  • Clients may appeal any certification decision in writing within 30 days of notification
  • All complaints should be submitted to info@icb-uk.biz
  • ICB UK will acknowledge receipt within 5 working days
  • Resolution will be targeted within 30 working days
  • Unresolved complaints may be escalated to UKAB

8. Limitation of Liability

  • ICB UK's total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question
  • ICB UK is not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses
  • Achieving certification does not guarantee regulatory compliance or commercial outcomes

9. Confidentiality

  • All client information is treated as strictly confidential
  • Data may be shared with UKAB as required for accreditation oversight purposes
  • Certified client names and scope may appear on the ICB UK public certificate register

10. Intellectual Property

  • All ICB UK audit reports, certificates, and materials remain the intellectual property of ICB UK
  • Clients may not reproduce or distribute audit reports without prior written consent

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments

  • ICB UK reserves the right to amend these terms at any time
  • Clients will be notified of material changes with 30 days notice
  • Continued engagement with ICB UK services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms
